This weekend ( 14th and 15th Sept) we travelled to Co Leitrim to take part in the IDBA Lough Rinn Dragon Boat Regatta. This was the last racing event of the season and so we were feeling strong and ready, having trained hard all year.
Despite difficult weather conditions on Saturday, everyone battled on, giving their very best. As well as racing hard everyone there was having a great time.
We at Lagan Dragons are delighted to have ended the season, bringing home silver medals in the 500 m Women's Category and bronze in the 500 m Open Category as part of a composite team with Medb's Dragon Warriors from Sligo.
