I agree to wear a buoyancy aid as advised by the Irish Dragon Boat Association Water Safety Policy and stipulated by the Club rules.
I take responsibility for ensuring that I am dressed adequately for the conditions and agree that I will not wear anything (including personal accessories, equipment or jewellery) which may impede my ability to escape from a capsized boat or swim unaided once in the water.

I accept the risks associated with water sports and specifically training sessions conducted by Lagan Dragons. I understand that Lagan Dragons has undertaken full risk assessments on all activities and has taken every effort to minimise these risks; however I am aware that all risk cannot be eliminated and that it may still be possible for an accident to occur which may not have been foreseen. I will comply with instructions given by coaches and will not attend intoxicated or otherwise under the influence of any substance which risks harm to myself or others on the boat.
